August 2006 sees a major step forward in the history and growth of Hambleton Steel.
 In order to maintain close control over our expanding workload, Hambleton Steel have this month completed the acquisition of Rotherham-based structural fabrication specialists Allott Bros. & Leigh.
The company have an enviable reputation for reliability and quality, and have been providing structural steelwork to the industry for over 100 years.
In addition to the expansion of Hambleton Steel's existing proven track record in portal framed buildings, office blocks and distribution facilities of all sizes, the acquisition provides the capability to provide a complete, in-house controlled service for the more complex and specialist sectors of the industry.
The generous workshop space at the Rotherham plant provides the ideal facility to build bespoke jigs and to carry out trial erections of complex structures to ensure a first time fit on site.
Working alongside the Brompton on Swale office, the Rotherham facility further enhances Hambleton Steel's flexibility and ability to react quickly to short contract lead-ins and contract change.
